Attention to Students Interning During the Summer Term

Attention to Students Interning During the Summer Term:

1. The deadline for submitting internship reports and presentations is Friday, October 17, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Internship reports will not be accepted after this date. The presentation must also be sent to the appropriate email address.

2. Students are required to hand-deliver all documents related to their internships to the Chemical Engineering Department Grading Officer by the date specified above, with a signature. Otherwise, their internships will be void. Internship achievement certificates, which must be provided by the company, must also be delivered to the department secretary by the specified date. Students should be aware of possible delays in shipping!

3. Internship reports must be bound with the internship report covers obtained from the Student Affairs Office.

4. Students must register for KM200 (CHE200) and/or KM300 (CHE300) courses in the 2025-2026 Fall Term.

5. Following the deadline for submitting internship reports, they will be distributed to our faculty members and posted on our department website. Students are encouraged to follow these announcements and contact the relevant faculty members.

Please check the list below before submitting your documents and do not submit any missing documents.

1. Bound internship report
2. CD containing the internship report and presentation
3. Internship consent form
4. Surveys (Employer and student surveys have been updated, and we kindly request that the current surveys be submitted. Students can also request employer surveys from the institutions where they interned.)
5. Student evaluation form (approved by the commission, with photo and signature)
6. Internship achievement documents (Copies of the internship achievement documents from the department and student affairs offices must be placed in a sealed envelope by the company)
7. Documentation demonstrating this if the internship was conducted on Saturdays

The internship presentation should be sent separately to: kmstaj@gazi.edu.tr
The presentation document title should be CourseCode_StudentNo_NameSurname.pptx. (Course code: KM200, KM300, ChE200, or ChE300)
